Downgrading a Synology package

By default, synology packages updates themselves. This is a normal characteristic of the Disk Station Manager. However, in some situations you would not like how the update changes the package’s functionality.

In order to downgrade the package to a previus version, first you have to uninstall the actual one. Then, refer to http://download.synology.com/download and look for the package you want. Then, you must be sure you choice the right package, according to your Synology architecture. You may refer to https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/wiki/Architecture-per-Synology-model

Download the desired spk and proceed to a manual install from the Package Center. Be sure to uncheck the “Self Update” option.

In example, i disliked version 6.0.0-3088/18-Nov-2016 12:32 from Audio Station, because in this version you have access to a limited play list queue, and you can’t see the song’s valorations anymore. So, i uninstalled my Audio Station. Then I went to 5.6.0-2991/03-Oct-2016 20:56 and downloaded version AudioStation-armv7-5.6.0-2991.spk, which is the one for my DS215+.
